NEW YORK (Britney Fans Website) - The release of Britney Spears' new single "Toxic" has not been postponed contrary to tabloid reports. Several publications believed it was pushed back so the pop princess could undergo counseling for excessive drinking and to put her whirlwind wedding behind her. The single was in fact released to radio today and MuchMusic will be premiering the "Toxic" video this Tuesday at 6:50 pm ET.

Spears apparently gives Justin Timberlake a run for his money in the upcoming video for "Toxic." She plays a femme fatale who'll do just about anything to kill her cheating ex-boyfriend.
