Eric Roberson - King Of Independent Soul - Headlines The Soulcial Series
Houston, TX. (Top40 Charts/ Soulcial Series) Countless artists have penned chants of freedom and autonomy - from Destiny's Child to Ne-Yo's search for "Miss Independent," but Eric Roberson embodies independent artistry without compromise. Going against the grain of mainstream music industry formulas, his songs touch the spirit, lyrics tickle the mind and live shows captivate spectators.

8 albums, 4 letters - ERRO, 2 Grammy nominations, 1 night ... in Houston. Soul-stirring independent artist, Eric Roberson, will entertain faithful followers and newfound fans at Groundhall on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Joined by one of Jet Magazine's 2011 Artists to Watch, Atlanta-based vocalist Avery*Sunshine will also take the stage in her first Houston performance. Avery's recent accolades include iTunes Top New Artist of 2010 award and critically acclaimed reviews for "All in My Head."

Avery is set to tour with legend B.B. King, Summer 2011, in the United Kingdom. As for March 26th, one can only hope ERRO freestyles, as he intertwines uncommon words offered by the audience with rhythmic melodies to form the impromptu makings of a crowd favorite. Eric has built this into shows worldwide from DC to Dallas to the UK. Roberson's Houston appearance, courtesy of the Soulcial Series, follows a crowd-rocking performance from UK songstress Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry. The two collaborated on "N2U" (The Appetizer) and "She Ought To Know" (The Vault Vol. 1.5).

The third installment of the Soulcial Series presents a show meant to move the crowd, soothe the senses and stimulate the soul. For more information, visit https://www.thesoulcialseries.com or call 713-487-6040. View a promo video on Vimeo here: https://vimeo.com/18932696
