HOLLYWOOD, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Gjenius Productions)
With the support of sponsors such as Fender and Coca Cola, the makers of RIFT have pledged their entire opening weekend gross box office sales to the American Red Cross Japan Relief Earthquake and Tsunami Efforts.
The producers and directors at Gjenius Productions, LazRael Lison, Tatiana Chekhova and Shary Nassimi have set out to show their stuff, while representing American movie makers in their best light. In the face of one the worst disasters ever, caring about others is truly indicative of our humanity.
RIFT is a psychological-thriller movie, conceived, directed and produced by LazRael Lison, one of the most talented new writer / directors in Hollywood. Even prior to the release of the movie, the TRAILERS for RIFT have generated over 550,000 unique YouTube views, capturing the imagination of the entire country and the international community.
Since the story of RIFT is based on actual events, Lison has taken pains to weave the story in a manner which leaves much to the audience's imagination. This, with the addition of elements which you have to see to appreciate, takes the audience on a roller coaster ride of mayhem and terror, creeps and screams, ending in a place where your fears and imagination collide. RIFT will be premiering on April 28th at a star studded, invitation-only red carpet gala in Beverly Hills and will be available for a limited theatrical engagement at Laemmle's Music Hall 3 Theatre in Beverly Hills, beginning April 29th. TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE.
"RIFT is now a cult icon and is ready for partnerships with the right distribution," said Shary Nassimi, Director of Marketing and Publicity.
RIFT stars RICHMOND ARQUETTE (CSI, Prison Break, Halloween, Scream, Se7en), LESLIE EASTBROOK (Superman, Batman, Police Academy & Rob Zombie's Devil's Rejects) and TOM WRIGHT (Numb3res, 24, eRing, Southland, CSI).
Gjenius Productions was founded in 2005 with a mandate to the expression of cinematic creative paradigm through digital cinematography.
