Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Habit Artist Services) MTV's "Needle in the Haystack" featured artist SHELLY FRALEY, releases debut full-length CD - Into the Sun (Hinterland House Records).

Into the Sun is a 10-song CD collection showcasing Shelly Fraley's signature vocals and indie-pop song writing. The music takes broad stylistic leaps, moving from piano-based, mid-tempo songs such as 'Sway', to acoustic-driven, upbeat songs such as 'Uh Oh, I'm Fallin'.

"...The big takeaway is that Fraley has the voice of an angel." Music Connection Magazine

Ms. Fraley's debut release Into the Sun comes on the heels of a string of major network television show song placements during the 2010/2011 viewing Season:

- ABC's prime time medical drama series Private Practice featured 'Sway' and 'I Don't Know' (two subsequent episodes, including the season finale)

- CW Network's staple teen drama One Tree Hill showcased 'Seize The Day'

- CW Network's reality television makeover summer series Plain Jane featured 'Up, Up & Away' and 'On Her Way' (two subsequent episodes)

- Lifetime Television's American drama series Army Wives featured 'Seize The Day'

- ABC Family's young adult mystery thriller Pretty Little Liars placed 'Uh, Oh I'm Fallin' at the start of the season and then 'Two At a Time' in the season finale music montage.

As a result, Ms. Fraley's iTunes digital download sales have been robust with close to 11,000 unique downloads to date.

"Shelly Fraley is one of the many great singer-songwriters I've discovered through One Tree Hill and you should all give this girl's music a try, especially if you're into catchy indie pop songs." Let Me Like It.com

"I love this song! It was on an ABC family show, and that's how I found it. So lovely <3" iTunes Fan Review

About Shelly Fraley

Born and raised in rural Kansas, Fraley wrote her first songs -- piano ballads -- on a slightly out of tune church piano after long days spent listening to Top 40 radio. Songwriting, recording and performing continued throughout her formative years and into her college career studying liberal arts and music at Southwestern College. Currently based in Nashville, TN, Ms Fraley's songwriting pulls inspiration from seasoned pop artists such as The Cardigans, Ingrid Michaelson, and Josh Ritter.

Fraley's songwriting maintains accessible-pop-music sensibilities without diminishing the lyrical message or sacrificing solid, authentic musicianship. Her songs speak to the concept of change, love, and moving forward in life. With her heartfelt, sometimes quirky, and ultimately catchy piano/acoustic guitar based pop music, Ms. Fraley is well on the way toward a successful career as a modern-day singer/songwriter.
