NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Curb Records announcement) - Overcoming all challenges is par for the course for Curb artist
Jo Dee Messina who will hit the road at the end of this month with an ambitious series of "comeback" dates.
Jo Dee's recent hiatus from touring has only added to the anticipation of her return to the road. Surrounded by the outpouring of public affection and support for the spunky fiery haired singer whose success story began when she strode over to a label executive a few Fan Fairs ago and boldly announced "what you really need at Curb Records is a redhead!" Millions of records later, truer words were never spoken.
"I'm so excited to get back on the road. I'll be hitting the stage with a new group of great musicians that are simply happy to be playing. After getting so lost in the "business side of things", I'm anxious to get back to what's most importantothe music."
Words that come to mind immediately are from Messina's song about weathering the storms of life, "Bring On The Rain." With the rain clouds dispersed, the summer sun will shine brightly on Jo Dee's summer concerts.
