New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Down Wit It Entertainment presents the release of its new national hip hop competition,
American Rap Master. American Rap Master is a reality television talent competition in search of the next major rap star. With the launch of American Rap Master, Down Wit It Entertainment is ready to reinvigorate the essence of hip hop by showcasing its positive impact on urban communities while highlighting the talent residing across the USA.
The American Rap Master National Rap Competition will be an annual event with its first tour kicking off in August 2011 and concluding in November 2011. The tour will consist of 8 different cities; including major cities like Detroit, Houston, and Atlanta, with the finals being held in Miami. Contestants will audition and compete for a chance to win $25,000 and a recording contract. American Rap Master is more than a competition it is a movement that will change the mindset of mainstream media as it pertains to the negative connotations associated with the rap/ hip hop culture.
American Rap Master seeks to tap into a core hip hop market that has not been reached. The emergence of reality television programs showcasing various genres of music has left a void that American Rap Master will fill by focusing on the importance of embracing the rap/hip hop culture. American Rap Master is uniting people around a common interest hip hop by providing a platform in which they can showcase their talent while interacting with other hip hop enthusiasts.
