The Asteroids Galaxy Tour Announce Album 'Major' MP3 Released Today!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Girlie Action Media & Marketing) Copenhagen's The Asteroids Galaxy Tour have been winning over audiences globally with their unique brand of cutting edge, soulful, infectious pop. Since forming in 2007, the Danish group has racked up accomplishments that include having singles featured in two global television ads, sharing the stage with superstars like Amy Winehouse & Katy Perry and a successful US tour. The band is now gearing up to release its second album, Out Of Frequency, January 31, 2012 on BMG Rights.

Brandishing a signature sound that infuses indie-pop with neo-psychedelia, dance and retro-futuristic soul, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour never fail to produce addictive tunes that never sacrifice imagination. They deliver yet another unforgettable anthem with Heart Attack with its instantly memorable melody and a caffeinated beat guaranteed to invade dance floors. The slinky Major will seduce you with its 70s blaxploitation-esque horn stabs and edgy vocals that are the perfect balance of commanding and sweet. Title track Out Of Frequency highlights the soulful side of the band with its smoky nostalgic atmosphere and Fantasy Friend Forever has all the elements of an ecstatic psych-pop explosion with its thumpin beat and addictive hooks, making it nearly impossible for listeners not to get out of their seats.

Check out the MP3 for album track Major which premiered with MTV Hive today, and is also available as a free download on the bands website. Along with offering the new track, fans can share on Facebook and Twitter to reveal the new Out Of Frequency album artwork. Each tweet or share will slowly layer the album artwork until it is fully revealed. Once the artwork is unlocked, new content from Out Of Frequency will become available.

The band was first put on the map when its song Around The Bend was featured in a popular iPod Touch ad in 2008, launching The Asteroids Galaxy Tours career worldwide. Additional tracks from the bands debut album Fruit also appeared on hit television shows such as Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries and CSI: Miami. Most recently, The Asteroids latest single The Golden Age was chosen by Heineken for use in a global 2011 campaign. The commercial features more than just the song itself - it showcases frontwoman Mette Lindberg belting out the tune in her own captivating way, giving viewers a taste of what its like to see the high-energy band live. With their stick-in-your-head hooks and energetic stage presence, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour put on an eclectic show that is not to be missed - be sure to catch them on tour this fall!
