The Jetson Fleet Are Blasting Off With Release Of Debut Album: We Brought The Party
Tampa, Florida (Top40 Charts/ Jetson Fleet Official Website) Tampa's hottest new hip hop sensation, The Jetson Fleet, released their long anticipate debut album "We Brought the Party" September, 13th on iTunes. Within the first week of releasing the album The Jetson Fleet's Facebook fan count jumped from 700 fans to over 14,500 Facebook fans. Having stood at the forefront of Tampa's Hip Hop music scene for the last year, this debut CD has become the catalyst that is driving The Jetson Fleet into the national spot light.

The production of the CD was a clash of two worlds, with Kelly Nunn, retired guitarist of Underoath and Maylene Sons of Disaster recording and producing the entire album. " The album really shows their musical versatility and the diversity of their sound. You can never really paint The Fleet's sound into a corner, because they bring fans little bit of everything on this album," said Kelly Nunn.

The bands first single for the Album is "Whatever I Gotta Do," a track which shows off The Fleet's lyrical power and jazzy slick flows. The Fleet also display their vocal abilities, with the songs catchy and harmonious chorus.

When Tampa Bay Times awarded the Jetson Fleet the Millerlight Soundtrack Artist of the Day Award they summed up the Fleets sound as "a jazzy, slick flow that sounds a little like The Pharcyde fronted by Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda, with a dash of Wu-Tang Clan thrown in."

The Jetson Fleet has been on the rise in the Tampa music scene for the last 18 months performing countless shows on what they call their "home stage" at the Orpheum in Ybor City. With such massive followings on the Tampa college campuses, The Jetson Fleet has continually packed Tampa venues alongside national acts such as Afroman, Cage and Mann.

Prior to kicking off their tour, The Jetson Fleet will be hosting their CD release show on November, 3rd at The Orpheum in Ybor City. "7th ave of Ybor City is our party spot and the Orpheum is what we consider our home stage… So we figured there is no better place to host our CD Release event. Its gonna be a wild time! We'll be performing our entire CD with a live band, which is a first for us…. "

We Brought the Party is now available for download on iTunes.
