New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Girlie Action Media & Marketing) San Antonio's Girl In A Coma released their latest album, Exits & All The Rest in 2011 to tremendous critical acclaim, and the band is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The band has been touring constantly in support of the release, and today they're thrilled to announce a headlining West Coast tour in April/May, with support from Piñata Protest and Sara Radle. Tickets will be on sale tomorrow, March 13th.

Girl In A Coma is also nominated for two Independent Music Awards- Best Indie/Alternative Rock Album, and Best Indie/Alternative Rock Song! Fans can vote for the band on the Vox Pop section of www.independentmusicawards.com. The band has blazed a singular trail since Nina Diaz joined the band at age 13, and has found champions and comrades along the way including Joan Jett (who signed them), Morrissey, Sia, Tegan and Sara, The Pogues and Amanda Palmer who have hand-selected them for tours.

All the while, they have been building one of the most impassioned and diverse fan bases in music. Girl in a Coma are that rare feral band, unaffected by trends, that has managed to stay wild and thrill us at every turn. Don't miss out on catching them live!
