The new track, from the upcoming full length album Here We Are out this fall on N.E.E.T/Interscope, was recently used in designer Rebecca Minkoff's Spring/ Summer 2012 viral video featuring Agyness Deyn.

Blaqstarr, experienced local success in the early 2000s with a series of tracks he released via his own Starr Productions label. He is well-known for his songwriting and production work on M.I.A.'s 2007 album Kala , 2010's MAYA and he also scored a 2006 club hit, "Shake It To The Ground," after discovering Baltimore dance-rap dynamo Rye Rye. Over the last few years, Blaqstarr has released 2007's
Superstar EP and 2008's King of Roq (both on Diplo's Mad Decent label), performed at Rock The Bells, toured with Diplo and M.I.A and released the free online download Blaqstarr: The Mixtape. Most recently, Blaqstarr released the critically acclaimed
Divine EP in 2011. He has also produced and/or featured on tracks for Mos Def, Switch, Talib Kweli,K-Swift and Rye Rye among many others.
