Florence + The Machine Announces Additional US Tour Dates for Fall 2012

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Liz Rosenberg Media) Florence + The Machine are pleased to announce the third leg of their current sold out Ceremonials US tour. Beginning on September 14th, the 13 date tour will make stops at NY's Nikon at Jones Beach Theater and LA's Hollywood Bowl. Breakout star Toronto's The Weekend, who created the incredible remix for "Shake it out", and UK's The Macabees are set to open. Tickets for most of the dates go on sale May 11th. In the final week of the first leg, Florence plays Radio City Music Hall in NYC on May 8th, followed by an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman the next day. This summer she will be back for the second leg that will wrap up at Chicago's Lollapalooza.

CEREMONIALS, recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studios and produced by Paul Epworth (Adele) was released in the US on November 1st and debuted on the Billboard Top 100 Charts at No. 6. Last December, Florence + The Machine performed an unforgettable acoustic show at the Angel Orensanz Center in front of an intimate crowd for the re launch of the seminal MTV series, MTV Unplugged. The show aired on April 8th and the album immediately after, featuring tracks off her newest album and her multi-platinum debut Lungs. Josh Homme of Queens of The Stone Age made a special appearance to perform Johnny Cash's "Jackson", and Florence silenced the crowd with her own version of Otis Redding's "Try A Little Tenderness".

Nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist and an MTV Video of the Year Award with unforgettable performances on 2010’s MTV Video Music Awards, the Grammys and the Academy Awards, Florence Welch is poised to cast her spell as she dances across US concert stages.
