Sean Paul To Play London Indig02 On June 26, 2012
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Live Nation) Jamaican superstar Sean Paul has announced that he will play the Indig02 in London on Tuesday 26th June. Sean Paul tickets go on-sale Friday 1st June and are available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

The tour will feature tracks from new album "Tomahawk Technique", including the infectious anthem, "She Doesn't Mind" and "Got 2 Luv U" ft. Alexis Jordan, which has become a Top Ten hit in eight countries, reaching Number One in France and receiving Gold or Platinum status in five. The collection also features an appearance by Kelly Rowland as well as production from industry heavyweights like Benny Blanco (Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Wiz Khalifa, Ke$ha), Rico Love (Natasha Bedingfield, Nelly, Diddy, Usher) and Stargate (Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown).

Sean Paul, who has sold over 10 Million albums worldwide since bursting onto the scene in 2000 with Stage One, had spent the past year working on his long awaited follow up to his 2009 Grammy nominated album "Imperial Blaze" which featured the hit single "So Fine." "Tomahawk Technique" showcases a modified direction for Sean, who challenged his new producers to submit their interpretations of a dancehall beat while keeping the global pop sound they are known for.

Armed with a new look and an energized passion for music, the past year has produced a creative outburst from Sean, as his emergence as a producer, helming the track "Roll Wid Di Don" on "Tomahawk Technique" and working with artists like Cecile, Tami Chynn, Mr. Vegas, Wayne Marshall on his critically acclaimed Riddim album "Blaze Fia" and it's follow up "Material, has been matched by a stream of new music and collaborations with artists including Pitbull, T-Pain, Ludacris, Bob Sinclar, CongoRock, Mya and Kelly Rowland. After a brief hiatus from performing, Sean Paul came back onto the scene with an international summer tour visiting Portugal, Rome, Naples, Cape Verde, Ibiza, Germany, London (for the One Love Peace Festival), Bristol, South Cyprus and Canada.

"Tomahawk Technique" is the next step in Sean's continual pop dominance and follows in the footsteps of his classic albums that also include the multi-platinum, Grammy-winning Dutty Rock, which featured his breakout hit "Gimme The Light" and the platinum smash The Trinity, which was highlighted by the Top 10 single "We Be Burnin'" and the #1 hit "Temperature." With an undeniable track record for crafting hit singles as a solo artist, including cuts like "Deport Them," "Like Glue," "Give It Up To Me" and "Get Busy," as well as a history of taking other artists' songs to the next level through tracks like Beyonce's "Baby Boy," Jay Sean's "Do You Remember" and Blue Cantrell's "Breathe," Sean Paul has established himself as one of the seminal pop voices of his generation.
