Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Hip-hop artists KPT and Draft P1ck recently released the mixtape, "Elevated." The project is presented by Coast 2 Coast and is now available for free download. The mixtape features Draft P1ck and KPT with appearances by Ray Cash, Pooh Gutta, CJ Platinum, EZ White, Celeb, Young Ray, Flo Sinatra, J O'Neal, Krayzie Bone, and Britni Elise.
KPT is a 24 year old Indian rapper from Cleveland, OH. The name KPT comes from the word corrupt which he says represents his choice to rise above average by focusing on reaching his goals despite what others say. He became interested in music at the age of 13 while in choir class preparing for a performance. His choir teacher asked Draft P1ck and KPT to rap at the end of the show. They did and this moment became the beginning of their love for performing hip-hop.
KPT is constantly pushing his music through mixtapes. His influences come from all genres as he is a huge music lover. He listens to everything from hip-hop to country to Indian music. When performing, he likes to put on passionate, energetic performances that please the crowd. His goal is to put on shows like Tupac,
Bob Marley and The Beatles.
To date KPT has done songs with Britni Elise, Machine Gun Kelly,
Aaron Lafette, MIMs, Cheri Dennis,
Travis Porter and more. Although he collaborates with other artists, improving his own music is very important because he "wants people to know what [his] music is about."
KPT has opened for dozens of artists and has performed at the famous SXSW
