New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ One Street Over Official Website) Michael Lewis' new project entitled "Snapshot" is now available in digital outlets, released under his band name One Street Over. The new album features an impressive vocalist, Bridgette Lewis, who has been touring with Michael extensively over the last couple of years. Bridgette covers the likes of Stevie Nicks, Tracy Chapman, Jon Anderson and
Trevor Rabin of Yes along with her own soulful take on Fly Me To The Moon.
The album also features top Nashville session players; Brice Williams, the original drummer for Lady Antebellum, Brian Fullen, drummer for
Peter Frampton,
Vince Gill and Tracy Nelson. The late, great Chris Kent, bassist for Larry Carlton, Lorrie
Morgan and Take 6 (Chris passed away last October). John Billings, bassist for
Donna Summer and
Wynonna Judd. Michael Lewis is featured on guitar and keyboards.
Michael, who also produces music for Film and TV, produced the project. Michael has endorsements with companies such as Taylor Guitars, Celestion Speakers, Fuchs Amplifiers and Furman. He also has his own line of guitars, known as Michael Lewis Guitars. His production music airs worldwide.
With the new release comes several new videos available on YouTube.com/MichaelLewisMusic, including a live performance of "Fresh Perspective" filmed in Nashville, featuring Brice Williams (Lady Antebellum) on drums along with finger style champion guitarist, Tim Thompson. Michael and Bridgette perform an acoustic duo version of the hit Yes song "
Owner Of A Lonely Heart" and a video of their cover of the
Fleetwood Mac hit "
Dreams" will also be ready for release in a matter of days.
In 2010, Michael filmed and released a full music video of his country pop song "Sky Blue" which seems strangely similar to John Mayer's recent music video, "
Shadow Days" released at the end of April this year. Watch 'em both and tell us what you think?
Michael and Bridgette have several live performance coming up. They will once again join the Spokane Jazz Orchestra (SJO) as special guests for their annual 4th of July show. The two hour show concludes with the big fireworks display at Riverfront Park in Spokane, WA. The SJO is the oldest community supported big band in America.
Michael and Bridgette perform regularly as the One Street Duo and One Street Over (full band) -- they have become one of the most popular duos in the Pacific Northwest with an average of 75 shows a year. For a complete schedule of their performances see "https://michaellewismusic.com/calendar.php"
