New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Blue Pie Records) Imagine yourself walking along the beach. Imagine yourself walking along a jetty on a warm summer's day with the sea breeze in your hair as you watch the sun set. This perfect setting needs some background music. Jay Syverson is the one to supply the perfect song with his new single "Walkin' On The Jetty". As the song is entirely acoustic guitar, there is a delicate and relaxing ambiance that encapsulates the air around you when you hear the song.

As Jay was musically inspired after a trip to Hawaii, his music has elements of Hawaiian sounds that you could imagine hearing at a luau. His dexterous finger plucking skills have a soft quality to them and you could easily fall asleep to this music and wake up feeling fresh and rested. Jay's music is almost meditative as it is so calming and soothing with the soft touch of the guitar. "Walkin' On The Jetty" definitely captures this atmosphere.

ABOUT JAY SYVERSON
Jay started out jamming on his guitar and playing rock/blues music in the 60s and 70s. for many years 'real life' prevented him from pursuing his musical passion and it wasn't until 2004 at a slack key festival in Hawaii that he decided he should pick up his guitar again. Even though he is a natural at music, he still attended various music camps on the Island of Molokai to really hone in on his skills and his passion. He worked with such people as Keola Beamer, Kevin Brown and Sonny Lim. Ever since then his music has become an extension of his body and simply 'falls out of my guitar' as he strums away on the strings. He started recording some of his early efforts and this is how his album 'Walkin' on the Jetty' came to life. All of these songs were done in collaboration with Spinning Dolphin Music.
