Aussie-Born Singapore Recording Artist/thereminist Shueh-li Ong Plays In Nashville

Singapore's theremin diva is putting on her 1st show in Nashville. Joining her will be Jazz great, Beegie Adair, and friends from the pop and classical worlds, Tom Brislin and Elisabeth Small.

Shueh-li is best known for layering the theremin (the sci-fi instrument where precision hand gestures move in proximity to two antennas without touching them), tin-whistle, guqin, exotic synth and vocal lines, to create bombastic productions.

Only a few in the world perform on the theremin professionally; it is known as a difficult instrument to play.

In an indie career that has spanned three albums and countless shows, She has written and produced everything from love songs to fusion-pop, theatrical soundscapes to prog-rock!
