New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ UMPG) Award-winning songwriter and composer, Gustavo Santaolalla, has been previously honored for his Academy Award winning work in film scores, such as Brokeback Mountain and Babel, as well as his Grammy award-winning work in production.
Now, the Argentine native has been nominated for his first Emmy Award, for the main title theme music for the AMC western series, "Hell on Wheels."
In 2008, Gustavo was named as a BMI Icon at the 15th annual BMI Latin Awards, a special achievement given to those who have had a unique and indelible influence on generations of music makers.
