New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Interscope Records) Megan Nicole, the 18 year old singing sensation who has earned more than 1,000,000 YouTube subscribers thanks to 250,000,000-plus views of her covers of pop songs such as "Call Me Maybe" and "The Lazy Song", and her own original "B-e-a-utiful," has been signed to Bad Boy Records, it was announced today by Bad Boy founder Sean "Diddy" Combs and President Harve Pierre. The Texas native is currently recording new songs for what promises to be a highly anticipated debut album on Bad Boy/Interscope. Having recently wrapped a set of international concerts - including stops in Vancouver, Brussels, Berlin, and Paris - Megan will embark on a US tour with The Wonder Girls, planned for fall 2012.

"Megan is a great person, amazing artist and an enormous talent all around," said Pierre. "She has done an incredible job on building a solid fan base and we are here to enhance that and ensure her dreams come true. Welcome home Megan Nicole."

"Megan Nicole is a complete package that I am extremely excited to add to the Bad Boy roster. She is a talented singer, songwriter, musician and entertainer," said Diddy. "Megan Nicole is a perfect fit for the new future at Bad Boy."

Born in Houston and raised in Katy, TX, Megan sang and played piano for her church's youth group before adding guitar to her repertoire. In December 2009, the high school student debuted by posting on YouTube a cover of the Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody" featuring her singing and playing acoustic guitar. Since then, her cover of Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song" has attracted more than 31 million views, Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" 7 million-plus, Maroon 5's "Payphone" 5 million-plus, One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" 4 million-plus and many more. Most significantly, when Megan released her debut original song "B-e-a-utiful" in 2011, the Kurt Schneider directed video scored more than 17 million views. The "B-e-a-utiful" single is now available at digital retailers.
