Opening Event Of 7th Annual Latin American Cultural Week Is Glamourtango Show, November 9 At New York Society For Ethical Culture
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Pan American Musical Art Research) The internationally acclaimed GlamourTango, Tango in Feminine Form show, led byUruguayan-American pianist and Music Director Polly Ferman, will be presented on Friday, November 9 - 7:30 PM at the New York Society for Ethical Culture, 2 West 64th Street in Manhattan. This is the opening event of Pan American Musical Art Research's (PAMAR's) 7th Annual Latin American Cultural Week (LACW) in New York City.

GlamourTango is a celebration of tango in feminine form, performed by an international company of musicians and dancers. This unique multimedia music and dance show, conceived by Polly Ferman and directed by her from the piano, is a tribute to women in Tango, with an all-female cast.

LACW, this year from November 9 through 19, includes participating institutions and artists throughout New York City, hosting presentations of music, dance, film, theater, literature, visual and performing arts from or influenced by the diverse cultures of Latin America.

This year, LACW features Celebracion de la Cultura Hispana en Washington Heights, including Tango in Washington Heightson November 16, with Daniel Binelli(bandoneon) and Polly Ferman(piano), Tango Dancers and a Tango class and on November 18, the WHIN Youth Orchestra Music Project - El Sistema Uptown - Both events atOur Saviour's Atonement Lutheran Church, 178 Bennett Avenue.
