Anthony Lucio, "Fine After A While"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Anthony Lucio Official Website) Electronic rock musician, ANTHONY LUCIO, unleashes his sophomore effort, "FINE AFTER A WHILE," to digital retailers on November 13, 2012. Following the local success of 2008's "FOR THE DRAINED", Lucio began to write again in the middle of 2011 before completing the project this past summer. With marketing on social media platforms YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, word of mouth is spreading on the veteran musician, who calls Los Angeles his home (for now).

Including samples performed by Nine Inch Nails drummer Jerome Dillon and sound designer Keith Hillebrandt, Lucio also was sure to include homages to other artists who inspire his craft. Echoes of UK duo, The XX, can be reminisced through the delayed and distant guitars all throughout the compilation in songs such as "Giant Leap," an anthem of self healing and growth. Lyrical stylings akin to self-reflective pop-rocker Alanis Morissette are the backbone of the song structures, as apparent in the song "Saving Face," where the chorus chants "it's up to me this time, for me to stop saving face and grow up." On the closing track "Vertigo," Piano motifs linger through like an early Tori Amos record, while UK based musician, Fennesz, also played a part in inspiring the mood for a few tracks.

"I wanted this album to really fuse together lots of styles I enjoy. I didn't want to be confined to one genre, there are tons of loud guitars and also some soft piano bars. It was important for me to also show some more vocal confidence; the vocals on the last record were a little muted and layered, and I wanted to make sure on this album you could really hear and feel what I was saying."

Lucio is targeting online blogs and publications for review of the material, and is planning an online-radio tour early in the spring, alongside a string of shows along the west coast to build momentum and support of the record. Networking with other artists, organizations and causes in the area will also bring attention to the release.
