NEW YORK (www.andersensilva.com) - Lyndhurst resident Andersen Silva released his self-recorded album "Joy in the New" on CD today.
The album, first conceived over five years ago, ranges over its twenty-one tracks from pop-punk ("Blond on Blonde," "Joey Ramone's Dead") to industrial ("J-ded," "Extreme Close-Up, then Fade to Black") to rock 'n roll ("Not An Exit" and the title track). Silva sang and played all instruments on the album and wrote all the songs, except for "Not An Exit," co-written with his collaborator in the band Not An Exit, Jon Wardell.
Wardell and Florida-based artist Steve Augulis provided artwork for the album, as did Silva.
