
LONDON, UK (www.redtoviolet.com) - UK is showing more and more interest in dutch alt rock duo Red to Violet. Having been invited by London's Mosquito Media to do a concert promoting the release of The Greatest
Music You've Never Heard (including a Red to Violet track), the duo has now also been invited to perform during the yearly showcase of PanArtist.com in Central London.

About the duo: female/male, vocals/guitar duo from holland, wrote all songs for the selftitled debut 'Red to Violet', directed & produced the video for 'Here I Am' and set up their own independent label Commuse
About the gigs: Red to Violet will do 30-45 minutes acoustic gigs as a 3 piece, with an extra female guitarist.
About the name: Red to Violet stands for all the colors in rainbows, all colors the human eye can see, from red to violet... these colors are also considered to be the 1st and 7th color of the human chakras, the so called 'invisible energywheels' of a human being.
Having recorded on remote studio locations, Red to Violet went to legendary Abbey Road Studios in London for the CD mastering, Red to Violet worked with engineer Sean Magee, known for embracing the old & new technology and who has also worked on CD's by Coldplay, Kylie Minogue, Blur, Bush and did vinyl-mastering for Rolling Stones, Spiritualized and Pink Floyd.
US: in the US Red to Violet won the JPFolks Alt Song Award and received airplay on 400+ college radios, the Here I Am video received national broadcast on NBC television, and on Cable TV's & Public Access TV's in 15+ states, all over the US.
