Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ SFN Media Group) Folk pop recording artist Kattail released her first music video "Cottage Grove" today featuring an appearance by '80s video vixen Signy Coleman. Coleman appeared in two classic Huey Lewis And The News music videos, "I Want A New Drug" and "Heart And Soul."
Kattail (https://www.kattailmusic.com), who is repped by talent house SFN Media Group, wrote "Cottage Grove" to capture some of her experiences living in Oregon. The song has an addictive, folksy vibe accompanied by bold, catchy lyrics with an Americana feel inspired by
Bob Dylan by way of Lana Del Rey.
Coleman, a star of CBS' Young And The Restless, returned to her music video roots to work with the rising new ingenue. "The director, Stewart St. John, asked me to listen to the song and I fell in love the minute I heard it," said Coleman. "Cottage Grove is an authentic piece of music from an amazing songstress who is destined to become a household name."
"I'm ecstatic to have Signy be part of my first music video," said Kattail. "She's an icon, part of music video history, and was so supportive and fun to work with. In the video, she plays a fairy princess in search of her steed."
"Cottage Grove" is the first single released from Kattail's self-titled, indie debut album produced by Stewart St. John featuring instrumentation arranged by music prodigy
Travis Marsh. Fans can visit Kattail's website -- https://www.kattailmusic.com -- to sample and purchase "Cottage Grove" -- also available on iTunes and Amazon.
The full EP goes on sale this May. "Kattail" is an inspiring, reflective and stirring mix of folksy meets pop, comprised of songs that are sweet, light-hearted and instantly hummable.
