DJ RAGS presents the highly anticipated single 'Balle Balle' featuring the vocal talents of Fatman Scoop.
In creation of this track Rags tried many different rappers, Mc's and hype men and women, of which none really hit the mark. During Rag's travels to the USA he had the opportunity to show Scoop the 'Balle Balle' track . Scoop instantly felt a connection between the music and himself, Rags had found the perfect artist for the song!
Upon arriving to the Studio, Scoop had a different approach to the track, and from remembering his touring days to India he remembered his love for the Indian language the people and the atmosphere, he made it clear that he wanted to Hype this track in Punjabi, something that makes him the first ever commercial artist in the world to do so.
The video to 'Balle Balle' finds Rags and his camera team following him around the USA from cities such as New York, Vegas and LA. To then meeting up with Scoop in New York to record the vocals, to then traveling back to London with Scoop to gain performance shots for an amazing up beat video.
The radio version of the 'Balle Balle' was inspired by Rags's recent travels to Europe. Rags recently went and travelled around Europe to find musical inspiration. Having spent several months listening, learning and taking notes,Rags was back in the studio creating sounds that would transport himself and his listeners all around the world musically. Something that with this track and some of his future creations he feel that he has accomplished.
The Indian Radio version of 'Balle Balle' was inspired by Rags's shows in India, a growing sound of Indian music has included a real hard hitting drop, a sound which Rags has created with the Indian Radio version of 'Balle Balle' played and exposed in India during his 2 month tour between November and December of 2012.
The official video for 'Balle Balle' will be released shortly. 'Balle Balle' will be available digitally from: 22/04/13.
