Boston to New York City area, and has set his sites on manifesting a new music career. O.A. are the initial for his his real name, Owen Amsler. Amsler is a Massachusetts born lyricist, producer and Co-Founder of Fast Break, a production company.

In a recent interview with KP Memphis, Amsler had this to say about his love of hip-hop," The first tape I remember playing over and over was "
No Diggity". Hip-Hop definitely had my full attention since then but I became a full hip-hop head when DMX put out 'It's Dark and Hell Is Hot'.
The beats, the rage, the vividness, I feel like that album showed everything that rap could bring to the table when done right. That was also when I realized I had to know and be able to rap the words to every song from my favorite artists, and that's when it became an obsession".
Amsler's obsession with hip-hop has created quite the buzz, with over 30,000 fans at Reverbnation, and 28,000 Twitter followers. Many of his fans can relate to the messages that Amsler brings to his music. Amsler said, "I've gotten beaten down by life plenty of times, and music has always been my outlet. I've always been grateful to have a hot new song to learn the words and get into the zone and forget about everything. The zone, and my music is a place that takes me away from any funk I may be feeling at the time. Hopefully, my listening audiences can have the same experiences".
