New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) SUNDAY, JUNE 2 - Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars - the afro-beat group born out of West African refuge camps - return to Brooklyn, where they recorded their 2012 studio album 'Radio Salone.' NYC roots/reggae band Morning Sun & The Essentials will open the show (show: 8pm, admission: $12).

FRIDAY, JUNE 7 - SUNDAY, JUNE 9 - Brooklyn Bowl will host five official Governors Ball after parties including a performance by indie/electronic act Poliça - featuring members of Gayngs (show: 11:30pm, SOLD OUT) - and a DJ set by Spoon/Divine Fits founder Britt Daniel (show: 1:45am, admission: $8) onFriday, June 7. The instrument swapping sisters of Haim will perform (show: 11:30pm, SOLD OUT) and Chris Keating of Yeasayer will DJ (show: 1:45am, admission: $8) on Saturday, June 8. Brooklyn funk/soul powerhouse Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds will close out the run on Sunday, June 9 (show: 9pm, admission: $12 ).

THURSDAY, JUNE 13 - SUNDAY, JUNE 16 - Northside Festival -- The annual summer showcase will include four days of shows. Performers include Mac DeMarco with White Fence and Walter TV (June 13, show: 8pm, admission: $12), DJ ?uestlove (June 14, show: 11pm, admission: $8), Sinkane (June 16, shows: 8pm, admission: $12), Chrome Canyon with Computer Magic (June 14, show: 12am, admission: $10), The Gories with Daddy Long Legs (June 15, show: 8pm, admission: $12), and Born Ruffians with The Spinto Band (June 16, show: 8pm, admission: $15). DJ Jonathan Toubin's Soul Clap & Dance Off, called "a shimmy-worthy mix of maximum rock'n'soul" by the New York Post, highlights Brooklyn Bowl's Northside Festival events on Saturday, June 15 (show: 12am, admission: $7).

TUESDAY, JUNE 18 - "Local X Local," the second of four LXL concerts to be held in 2013 in collaboration with Brooklyn Brewery, showcases the NYC area's best live bands. Guards will bring their "vintage pop" that "recalls thrift-store seven-inches" (NPR) to the June 18th event. The brewery, celebrating its 25th anniversary, will release a locally designed label for their Silver Anniversary Lager at each show, which will also feature local vendors (show: 8pm, admission: free with RSVP).

SATURDAY, JUNE 22 - Downtown Record's White Denim stop in Brooklyn before select dates in California, Europe and a return to their hometown for Austin City Limits. Louisville quartet Houndmouth, on the heels of the release of their debut album 'From the Hills Below the City' (out 6/4 on Rough Trade), will open (show: 8pm, admission: $15).

THURSDAY, JUNE 27 - SATURDAY, JUNE 29 - Alt-country pioneers Old 97's wrap up their summer tour with a three night stand. In an email to fans, Old 97's singer Rhett Miller hinted that they will perform one of their nine studio albums in its entirety each night (show: 8pm, admission: $15).
