Major D (Major Dedication) hails from Oakland, California. While growing up in the rough neighborhoods of the city, he used music as an outlet to express himself. As he worked hard to hone his craft, he developed his signature style and sound which blends hip-hop, R&B and pop music. As the writer, artist, producer and engineer for all of his work, he is determined to set himself apart from competition.
