Tito Puente Latin Music Series Moves To Mission Hill For A Night Of Salsa
BOSTON, MA. (Top40 Charts/ Berklee College of Music) The Tito Puente Latin Music Series makes its way to Mission Hill for a free concert featuring salsa vocalist Jesus Pagan, whose influences are the traditional troubadours and talented soneros of Puerto Rico, where he was raised. A true sonero, Pagan received a Paoli Award for Best Tropical Salsa Singer, awarded to talented artists and musicians in the Latin-American community. On Thursday, August 8, at 7:00 p.m, Pagan will perform at Mission Hill Playground, located on 1545 Tremont Street in Boston. For more information on the Tito Puente Latin Music Series and other Berklee Summer in the City events, presented by Natixis Global Asset Management, visit berklee.edu/events/summer.

Taking place on Thursdays in July and August at outdoor locations across Boston, the Tito Puente Latin Music Series is a soundscape of salsa, bolero, danzón, Afro-Latin, Caribbean, jazz, funk, R&B, and more. Performers include Berklee College of Music faculty, students, alumni, and world-renowned artists from Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Venezuela. Audiences should bring their dancing shoes for free salsa lessons provided by MetaMovements one hour before the performance.
