Lyda Keeps Momentum Building With Release Of The North Shore EP
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Rick Eberle Publicity and Entertainment Promotions) Emerging young Hip Hop star Lyda https://www.facebook.com/lydahiphop announced today that his "The North Shore EP" is now available on SoundCloud, iTunes and other major music services. The release includes two new singles "Seven Four" and "You Should Know" which were both mastered by Chris Gehringer (Rihanna, Drake, Lady Gaga, NAS) at Sterling Sound NYC, plus five other amazing musical compositions "Above Y'all", "Call of the Wild featuring YB Prod Lyda, "End of Days (Interlude)", "The Quiet Things" and "Get it Now" feat Frank Kush that take listeners on a musical journey into the mind of Lyda himself.

"I'm psyched to be able to present these new tunes to the public" Lyda said, "I think they are by far my best to date, and I know a lot of people will be able to relate to the stories they tell".

The single "Seven Four" was written from the perspective of a man in a relationship that is failing in a circular pattern. The female character portrayed in the song is plagued by thoughts of another man and has been telegraphing those emotions to her current boyfriend. Additionally, the male character places much of the blame for their failing relationship on his own shoulders expressed with lines such as "you make me make you fall in love" because of his inability to give her what she needs. The single "You Should Know" was written from duel perspectives of a couple in a long distance relationship. The female voice expresses the expendability of her partner while also expressing her emotional attachment. The male voice expresses the timeline associated with the relationship including happy times, struggle and eventually a resolution that he feels the same way as she does about things. This song is meant to portray the emotions surrounding the last efforts to keep a relationship afloat through tough times. The widely buzzed about new rising star MC, who earlier this year mixed and mastered the hit single "Flip Ya Bitch" by Frank Kush feat. Nu Jerzey Devil, has been busy pushing his musical message to the masses both as a rapper/songwriter with live performances at venues such as Belasco Theatre with headliners like kirko Bangz and as a sought after producer by up and coming acts in Los Angeles and beyond with his team at the Kush Club.

Lyda continued "When I'm not in the lab working on my own beats and music, its' great to be able to produce and collaborate with young artists to help them find their own sound", he said.

Earlier this year, Lyda scored big with his widely received High Scores Mix tape featuring the tracks "Bad News" and "Keep You Here". He also previously released his debut, the critically acclaimed "The Blueshift EP", in 2012.
