Dance Hall Pimps Premiere Video For The Dead Don't Walk/Album Out On Nov. 5
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Independent Music Media) Dance Hall Pimps frontman and founder RJ Comer has always been a huge fan of classic horror films so to create the video for the title track from the bands upcoming album he enlisted the help of film producer Jonathan McHugh for his directorial debut and independent horror film director C.M. Downs to bring the song to life in the video for The Dead Don't Walk.

In addition to live performance footage from the band the video includes scenes from horror classics like "White Zombie" & "Spooks Run Wild" (Bela Lugosi), "The Ghoul" (Boris Karloff) and "Night of the Living Dead" and walks the line between fantasy and reality.

"All the classic horror tales are love stories and The Dead Don't Walk is no different. Love can be the most powerful of horrors because love won't die, it is the relentless un-dead beast stalking you, overtaking you despite all your mortal efforts to outrun it. -- Explains singer RJ Comer

With their second studio LP, The Dead Don't Walk out November 5 on Growling Moon Records the band comes to life, adding harmonica to round out a blues rock sound. About the style, frontman RJ Comer explains, "We come from a tradition of melodic blues rock with horns, but we make it our own. It's blues that rocks. It's fiercely independent but it's not 'indie' in the sense of genre."
That becomes clear on the title track and first single The Dead Don't Walk, as horns pipe through a surf-rock rhythm, the song's vocal harmonies, Hammond organ and Jack Marshall guitar sound deliver the band's signature groove.

Director Jonathan McHugh produced Repo The Genetic Opera and produced and co-wrote the film Hood of Horror, he was also the music supervisor on The Saw series of films and the Adam Wingard film You're Next. C.M. Downs directed the film American Maniacs and he and McHugh are currently collaborating on a modern day re-make of the Bela Lugosi classic White Zombies.
Since 1979, Fangoria has been one of the most popular brands in horror, encapsulating magazines, a website, Hulu channel and VOD/DVD line.
