New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Newport Folk Festival Added To 2014 Schedule Along With JazzFest, Lincoln Center's "American Songbook," Shovels & Rope Tour, And Headlining Dates

Hurray for the Riff Raff is featured on the cover of American Songwriter's March/April issue (on stands March 10) for their new album 'Small Town Heroes' out today on ATO. The cover follows on the heels of their hometown Offbeat Magazine cover story in the February issue.

In the past month, Hurray has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, SPIN, Billboard, Country Weekly, NPR First Listen, Nylon, and more.

Yesterday Newport Folk Festival announced the band will return this summer after their "powerhouse" (NPR Music) set last year. The festival comes in addition to already-confirmed slots at JazzFest, Stagecoach Fest, and Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, alongside tour dates with Shovels & Rope; and a headlining run starting in March. It all kicks off with a Valentine's Day album release show at New Orleans' One Eyed Jacks this Friday.
