Her song "Everything is Haunted" has been released in support of No More.org partner Joyful Heart Foundation. All contributions given at the free download site are being donated to aid Joyful Heart Foundation in providing services for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors

Laura Marie has also been chosen from thousands of worldwide submissions as a nominee for the 13th Annual Independent Music Awards and is among established artists and artists on the rise including Melissa Ferrick, Yuck, The Soul of John Black, Born Of Osiris, Vienna Teng and Suzzy Roche & Lucy Wainwright Roche. Her performance of "Hard Rain" from her recent album The Season is nominated for Folk/Singer Songwriter Song.

Winners will be determined by a panel of influential artist and industry judges including Ann Wilson & Nancy Wilson, Suzanne Vega, Chiddy Bang, Shelby Lynne, G. Love, Band Of Skulls, Judy Collins, Arturo Sandoval, Alan Light (Live From The Artists Den), Terry McBride (Nettwerk Music Group), Kevin Lyman (Vans Warped Tour), Jason Olaine (Jazz at Lincoln Center), Anthony DeCurtis (Rolling Stone), Hillary McAndrew Plate (Lincoln Center) Bob Ludwig (Gateway Mastering), Bruce Iglauer (Alligator Records), Evan Schlansky (American Songwriter), Delphine Robertson (Playtone Productions), Benji Rogers (PledgeMusic), Megan West (SoundCloud) and others. The results will be announced in May, 2014.
