Boulder, CO (Top40 Charts/ Great American Taxi Official Website) Great American Taxi's three Colorado concerts scheduled for Fort Collins, 2/10; Breckenridge, 2/11; and Durango, 2/12 have been postponed due to family emergency in lead singer, Vince Herman's family. The band has posted the following statement on its official website, www.greatamericantaxi.com "The Great American Taxi shows scheduled this weekend in Fort Collins, Breckenridge and Durango have all been cancelled due to an emergency in Vince's family. We hope you all can understand and keep Vince and his family in your thoughts and prayers. We are all bummed to miss these shows and we hope to reschedule them for March and April so keep us on your radar and we'll be back soon. We wish you all the very best." The three cancelled dates were in support of Great American Taxi's release, Reckless Habits, a blend of Americana roots music - swampy blues, progressive bluegrass, funky New Orleans strut, Southern boogie, honky tonk, gospel and good old fashioned rock 'n' roll. The band's Reckless Habits appeared on several 2010 top ten lists, grabbing critical attention: "Habits" surely warranted a spot amongst the year's best," noted Chris Aaland at The Durango Telegraph.
