NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Island Records) - Everyone will know where to find Ludo this spring and summer, as Island Records' "Love Me Dead" alternative rockers from St. Louis continue to work their tails off in support of YOU'RE AWFUL, I LOVE YOU, their major label album debut (released in February).
Ludo follows-up their Kentucky Derby performance last weekend with ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles this Friday night (May 9th). Then comes KROQ radio's annual rite of spring, The Weenie Roast all-star concert on Saturday, May 17th, as Ludo joins fellow Island band the Bravery, and headliners Metallica, Offspring, Rise Against, Bad Religion, and many others at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine. It's the kickoff of three solid months of touring, including more than a month of shows with The Spill Canvas (May 28-July 2), then three weeks of Warped Tour '08 shows across the U.S. and Canada (July 23-August 17). Please see tour dates listed below.
For anyone still lost or missing, Ludo will be featured on 45 million (!) milk carton side panels in a massive promotional campaign and XBOX 360 prize pack contest, to be launched next week in conjunction with Milk Media and MilkRocks.com. The milk cartons will be distributed to summer schools and camps throughout the U.S. from May 15th to July 31st. Kids will be directed to the MilkRocks.com homepage, where they'll find a click-through to a newly created Ludo artist profile providing contest entry details along with music and video links.
