ABOUT MELODY ANGEL: A native of the Southside of Chicago, Melody Angel first discovered her love for music at the age of 7. As a child, she was mostly inspired by Michael Jackson and Slash in the "Dirty Diana' video and then by Prince in "Purple Rain." After watching the movie, Melody decided that she wanted to be as free as they were while performing on stage. In addition to being a talented vocalist, Melody is also a musician who plays the guitar, drums, bass and piano. She is a huge fan of rock music as she gets most of her inspiration from the likes of Michal Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Slash and Prince. Melody Angel finds her inspiration to write music based on her own life experiences. Most people may remember Melody Angel from her stint on MTV's show P. Diddy's Starmaker or from her many Youtube videos, but Melody Angel is ready to expand her horizons and become a household name. She is currently working on her long anticipated self-titled debut album.
