Post Paradise's New Single Is Refreshingly Out Of The "Ordinary"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Cello driven alt-rock band, Post Paradise just released their latest single "Ordinary" from their upcoming EP, due out this fall. The track packs an energetic punch with an eclectic flair that make Post Paradise unparalleled in their alternative rock sound. "Ordinary" is now available on iTunes.

"Ordinary" launches straight into Nick Duarte's captivating vocals and guitar work that are supported by Amy Morgan's vicious cello shredding. The combination is the uniquely eclectic alternative rock that has earned Post Paradise comparison to acts such as Murder By Death, Incubus and Finch. "Ordinary" is an unforgiving rock jam that has listeners head-banging and singing along instantly with its captivating hook and addicting distorted guitar riffs. The track was engineered, produced and mixed by Andrew Berlin (Rise Against, NOFX, As I Lay Dying) at Blasting Room Studios. "Ordinary" comes from a place of skepticism as Duarte sings the chorus, "we won't let them take our future away, we all feel the same." The single looks forward with a sense of perseverance as he continues, "we're not gonna break, we're not gonna fade." When explaining the meaning behind the single, Duarte says, "I worry that too many people forget what they cared about when the world seemed theirs for the taking, before life started to happen to them and they pushed their dreams aside. We can't give up our dreams so easily." Finding balance in its complex lyrical composition, a fast curveball of sound and relatable angst, "Ordinary" is anything but.

With the classical flair of Amy Morgan's work on the cello and Nick Duarte's signature vocals and edgy riffs, the two become the cornerstone of Post Paradise, further enhanced by Mark Roshon on drums and percussion and Chris Santolla on bass guitar. Post Paradise have gained an impressive following and maintained a prominent presence in the Colorado scene. Nick Duarte serves as both Musical Ambassador for the Colorado Board of Tourism with Amy, as well as serving on the board of local music organization, SpokesBUZZ. In tribute to Post Paradise's presence in the Colorado scene, they have a beer named after them, the Post Paradise RPA (Rye Pale Ale). Known for their spectacular live performance with an elaborate lights show and Amy's cello-shredding, the theatrics they bring to their performance have earned Post Paradise opening slots for bands such as Murder By Death, Twenty-One Pilots, Walk The Moon and Panic at the Disco.

"Ordinary" is a power-packed example of the expertly crafted alternative music that we can expect more of from the Colorado outfit. Post Paradise has proved their act a force to be reckoned with, making music that is meaningful, beautiful and most importantly: Rock & Roll.
