After 35 years of making music, the band just wrapped up its nine sold out concerts Karlovacko Live 2009 tour, selling out arenas booked by bands like U2,
AC/DC and the Rolling Stones. In addition to breaking records in all the arenas they played, the tour was also viewed by more than 53,000 people. The show from Zagreb was streamed live on the official membership website section at http://www.parni-valjak.net, where fans from all over the world watched the true legends performing on stage. The official website counter clocked more than 100,000 visits from over 137 countries within the second month.
"If the majority of the world's population becomes our fans, than the world would be without problems," says Husein Hasanefendic, guitarist, songwriter and leader of Parni Valjak. "After more than three decades, we've touched a lot of hearts and now our music is moving a third generation. When you see kids singing songs we recorded before they were born, it's an amazing feeling."
Parni Valjak has released 16 albums, 6 live albums, 2 single albums and 5 compilations, and is synonymous with sold out stadiums. After a few years of retirement, band members decided to return to the world stage, much to the delight of fans.
