MONTREAL, QUEBEC (Top 40 Charts/ Analekta Official Webiste) - In the category "Classical Album of the Year: Large Ensemble or Soloist(s) with Large Ensemble Accompaniment", the Orchestre symphonique de Montreal and its Music Director Kent Nagano have received the Juno for Beethoven: Ideals of the French Revolution, a CD featuring The General, a homage to Lieutenant-General Romeo Dallaire and a new recording of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.

In the category "Classical Album of the Year: Vocal or Choral Performance", the Juno was awarded to Ensemble Caprice, under musical direction of Matthias Maute, for Gloria! Vivaldi's Angels, a new reading of Vivaldi's famous choral works.

These wins highlight the quality and diversity of the recordings produced by ANALEKTA, featuring the finest Canadian musicians and confirm a unique status of the label on the Canadian classical music scene.
