Mercury Prize 2012 Nominations Revealed
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) The Barclaycard Mercury Prize 2012 Albums of the Year cover a diverse range of styles and genres, highlighting what has been an exciting period for UK music. The twelve albums, share a common sense of adventure, pushing music in fresh and dynamic directions.

The shortlist of the 12 'Albums Of The Year' chosen by an independent judging panel were announced today (September 12) at London's Hospital Club. The final award for the £20,000 prize will be announced on November 1.
