Silverchair last night became the most successful ARIA winner of all time. But the band members say they are having trouble believing they've made history.

Daniel Johns was staggered his songs had eclipsed other legends of rock.
"Even John Farnham?," he asked. "Even Barnsey? Even Chisel? Even Midnight Oil? Even AC/DC?"
"This is out of control. Can I hear a hallelujah?"
It was certainly Silverchair's night. Their 5 ARIA Award wins from 5 nominations (and a 6th for Best Video) ensured that not only have they beat the record held by any artist for the most ARIA Awards - at an overall total of 20.
Not only that, but the awards that Silverchair won Album of the Year, Single of the Year, Best Group, Best Rock Album and Motorola Highest Selling Single - are all amongst the most credible and sought after awards on the night.
Johns said Australian music was at the top of its game.
"How good is Australian music at the minute? We are killing it," he said.
