American Idol Favorite Matt Giraud Releases "My Love Screams" Featuring Lindsey Sky
NASHVILLE (Top40 Charts/ Matt Giraud Official Website) American Idol finalist Matt Giraud has released a new single and music video, My Love Screams, a powerful pop duet featuring newcomer Lindsey Sky. The song was co-written and produced by Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer David Grow, who produced Giraud on Jim Brickman's 2010 hit, Thankyou. Based loosely on the Twilight trilogy, My Love Screams highlights the passion and despair of forbidden love.

Giraud, 26, from Kalamazoo, MI, took fifth place in season eight of Idol, a surprise as he was an obvious favorite of judges Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell, and in fact was the first performer to receive a "save" from the judges.

But as the show has often shown, finishing less than first, does not necessarily mean a lack of post-Idol success and of that Giraud has enjoyed plenty. In addition to his hit with Jim Brickman, last year found Giraud appearing on an Idol "Results" show as well as completing his first national tour. Earlier this year, he recorded a cover of You Don't Know with Jazz vocalist Anna Wilson.

Grow, whose songwriting and producing credits include the number four smash, After All These Years, was chosen to produce the Lindsey Sky debut album. "Lindsey is a natural singer, Grow says. "When she mentioned she wanted to do a duet, I immediately thought of Matt since we had just worked together and I knew he would be perfect. After hearing Lindsey's demo of the song, he readily agreed."

The song and the accompanying video will be premiered at midnight, Eastern time, on www.lindseysky.com and will also be available on iTunes.
