Rising Star Camryn Wessner Streaks To #2 On Top European Indie Chart
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ iAM Entertainment Group) Young Florida singer/songwriter Camryn Wessner has catapulted to the top of the Official European Indie Chart 'ToP INDéCOUVERTES' and is ranked #2 on the popular chart.

She recently attracted global attention when her single 'Polaroid' was selected as 'Cool New Music - Hot/Mod/AC' on Jan 25th by AllAccess.com. This new achievement by the young star has helped to build momentum for her forthcoming follow-up release 'Temporary', co-written by Stan Lynch - a founding member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Wessner's rise in European popularity is a study in modern music distribution.

Wessner's single 'Polaroid' was digitally released to radio via two distributors: PlayMPE and Radio Submit. This means the single was not sent out on CD, rather sent to radio via e-mail blasts by the distributors, Twitter tweets, Facebook posts and emails by the radio promoter, and via music delivery software that resides on the computer desktop of program directors.

Christopher Marcy, Label Manager for the European digital label ALIEN PROD based out of France, discovered Camryn's 'Polaroid' on Radio Submit: "We fell under the charm of Camryn Wessner and immediately put 'Polaroid' on High Airplays on NETRADIO". Marcy stated that NETRADIO's current average daily audience is about 200,000 player openings internationally.

NETRADIO's frequent plays of Wessner's single caught the attention of the rest of the European radio market and resulted in Wessner reaching #2 on the Official European Indie Chart, which is broadcast to over 700 FM radio stations in Europe and Canada. Marcy praises Wessner: "The European market was quickly seduced by Camryn's bohemian musical universe, with rare lyrics, beauty and infinite grace."

About the EP

Wessner's acclaimed EP 'Temporary' was co-produced by Stan Lynch (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Eagles, The Band, Don Henley, Joe 90, Scotty Moore, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Mavericks, Ringo Starr, Jeff Healey Band, Eddie Money, Tim McGraw, The Mavericks, and more) and Billy Chapin (Don Henley, Sister Hazel, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Aretha Franklin, John Cougar Mellencamp, Stevie Nicks and more).

With industry heavyweights Lynch and Chapin mentoring, Camryn was given a comfortable recording environment which reflects on her folk-rock type of sound. She has frequently been compared to Stevie Nicks, Jewel, and Sheryl Crow of today. Lynch co-wrote with Wessner the title track to her EP 'Temporary'. "They bring out the best in me", Camryn says about her super-producers.
