Nashville, TN (www.hankcochran.com) - It's been thirty-odd years since 'She's Got You' was performed on the Carnegie Hall stage. Hank Cochran sang it first, and received a standing ovation for his efforts, during a rare 1970s country show that also featured the Willis Brothers, Marty Robbins and Norma Jean. On March 12, at 8 p.m. ET, Alison Krauss's much-anticipated performance of the Cochran classic will air during Great American Country Television's (GAC-TV) two-hour special, Grand Ole Opry at Carnegie Hall. 'Every entertainer dreams of playing Carnegie Hall,' says Hank. 'I've had that honor. As a songwriter, to know one of my songs was performed there – twice – is truly humbling.'

A happy Hank will be watching the special from his songwriting retreat on the beautiful Gulf Coast. 'I can't wait to hear it,' he says. 'I'll bet Alison just tore it up!' The song was a 1960s chart-topper for country great, Patsy Cline.

Taped last November during CMA Awards week, Grand Ole Opry at Carnegie Hall also features country music headliners Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Trisha Yearwood, Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Martina McBride, Little Jimmy Dickens, Bill Anderson and Charley Pride. The evening marked the Opry's 80th anniversary and a return to the prestigious venue after a 44-year absence.
