NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Global Journey) - David Hudson, world-renowned Australian recording artist and music educator, has just completed a series of appearances in America to promote his latest CD, DREAM ROAD, and to spread his message of cultural understanding to children. Hudson, who refers to himself as an "edu-tainer," takes a very unique approach to his live booking schedule, mixing concert shows with school and learning center appearances, where he is both entertainer - and motivational educator.

From headlining at the recent 2007 Australian Festival in Pembroke Springs , Florida , to a high school assembly appearance near St. Paul , Minnesota , to a learning center show in Las Vegas , Hudson reached out to all of his fans on his recent U.S. tour.

"I love coming to America !" exclaims Hudson . "People want to know about Australia . Because of the late Steve Irwin, and the movie Crocodile Dundee, there is a fascination with our culture."

"In the classroom setting, I talk to the kids about Australian culture and the rain forest. I play the didgeridoo, and tell them it's a very old Aboriginal instrument made from a hollowed out tree – and it makes a sound that I call the 'ancient voice of the future.' When I tell them the one that they heard on the television series Survivor: Outback was me – then I have them! I teach them how to do traditional Aboriginal dance and movement. They love it! And, I teach them about tolerance for other people," states Hudson . "I have a global message. We are all human beings who share the same earth - and we all bleed red."

Hudson's concert performances run the gamut of his entire catalogue - from World Music to Classical - and selections from DREAM ROAD, his latest, and first Country CD. People are always interested to know why someone from Australia - best known as a didgeridoo player, and for touring with Yanni for the past 12 years – would make a Country album. "That's easy," explains Hudson , "I was raised on a cattle station, much like an American cattle ranch, only much larger. My family was into country music. My parents loved Bill Monroe, Skeeter Davis, Buck Owens, Hank Williams, and Merle Haggard. So did I. I was also influenced by John Fogerty, Jackson Browne, Willie Nelson, the Doobie Brothers, and the Eagles. So, it's only natural that I would write and record a Country Rock album!"
