Neil Young promoting the movie and soundtrack for
Heart of Gold. Clinton also performed on two other albums with Neil Young. He played and opened for Gene Watson and
Tanya Tucker during their tour to Ireland, Sweden, Japan and China. Clinton also made an appearance in the movie Radical Jack with Billy Ray Cyrus. His credits also include recording sessions with Mickey Newbury songwriting with the legendary Hank Cochran.
