Music Star Jason Hastie has released his new single "Move with Me" with his band Six West (https://www.sixwestmusic.com). The song was a co-write by lead singers Jason Hastie and Abbey Powell, along with Tim Taylor, a prominent Canadian songwriter and music publisher now living in Nashville for the past fifteen years. In the course of Tim's career, he have been fortunate to have had over two hundred songs cut, including singles with several top Canadian artists like The Road Hammers, Jason McCoy,
Aaron Pritchett, Gil Grand, Duane Steele and Steve Fox. Tim has also received the CCMA (Canadian Country
Music Association) Song Of The Year award twice, and the Independent Song Of The Year once.
Jason Hastie is originally from Saskatchewan, Canada. He completed his undergraduate degree (Commerce) in 1999 and his graduate degree (Masters of Professional Accounting) in 2000 at the University of Saskatchewan. Jason obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2001. He currently resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, owns three companies, multiple properties, and is also the lead singer in a country band called Six West. Although his businesses are diverse, his focus remains on sustaining enjoyment, excitement and profitability in each.
Music has been a part of Jason' life since he was young. Religious roots and playing in a ministry band took Jason on a United States concert tour, in which he performed in, and visited 38 different states before coming home to Canada.
