Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ BNA Records) - Craig Morgan continues his service to the US troops this week, playing a very special show for military personnel and their families at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina this Thursday, September 18th.

The show is a homecoming of sorts for Morgan, who was stationed at Ft. Bragg from 1990 to 1992 during his tenure in the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division. Morgan spent 10 years on active duty with the Army prior to launching his music career, and now performs for the troops every chance he gets. He received the 2006 USO Merit Award for his tireless support of US soldiers and their families. Past recipients include Steven Spielberg, Elizabeth Taylor, and Bob Hope.

Wednesday's show is Morgan's 8th "Toast To The Troops" special event, for which he partners with sponsors Jack Daniel's and the USO. At these events, Craig and his band work with post volunteers, stuffing over 10,000 care packages for military troops stationed overseas, and the day concludes with a free concert for all of the base's military personnel and their families. Morgan's 90-minute show will be taped for broadcast next month. "Craig Morgan: Back to Bragg, brought to you by Case International Harvester" will premiere on GAC: Great American Country in late October, to coincide with the October 21st release of Morgan's 5th studio album, That's Why.

That's Why is Morgan's first release for BNA Records, with whom he signed earlier this year after spending several years on an independent label. That's Why is one of this fall's most-anticipated country releases, with previews appearing in the New York Times and USA Today in the past two weeks. The disc's lead single, "Love Remembers," is rapidly climbing the country charts.

Morgan has built his tremendous popularity with country music fans with massive radio airplay of his signature hits, including "Almost Home," "Redneck Yacht Club," "International Harvester," and "That's What I Love About Sunday," which was Billboard's Most Played Country Song of 2005.

Morgan has performed on the legendary stage of the Grand Ole Opry more than 170 times, and plays over 200 sold-out concerts a year.
