Diamond Rio will join a host of celebrities and some 30,000 attendees for Friday's sold-out world premiere of the new Disney-Pixar film, CARS, being held at Lowe's Motor
Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina.
On hand to perform the National Anthem, the band will help kick off the incredibly elaborate and unique event, marking the first multi-screen digital cinema premiere ever, and shown on four custom-built outdoor movie screens 115-feet wide by 50-feet tall.
Diamond Rio will also be on the red carpet, along with the voice cast of the animated film. Among those expected to attend are Paul Newman, Owen Wilson, Bonnie Hunt, and NASCAR's Richard Petty and Darrell Waltrip.
