Digital Down Reaches For Success With Cover Of Putting On The Ritz

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Upon release of the song it has claimed over 400,000 views just on Chinese music video site YinYueTai within a few days just short of reaching the Chinese V-Charts. Digital Down has seemed to modernize the classic hit song originally popularized by Taco in the early 80s. The song creates a much darker feel with more abrasive electronic elements while retaining much of what made the bassline so provocative in the original. This version shows no signs of stopping in popularity and may soon be brought to the public as a mainstream classic once again. Putting On The Ritz will be included on the forthcoming album Open Source Nervous System that is set to release on November 2nd later this year and will be available everywhere online.

Digital Down is located in central Arkansas and sounds like Nine Inch Nails with the vocal style of A Perfect Circle. Suitably enough as they are stated to be the dominant influences. Digital Down consist of sole member, Melville Bragg. Melville started his professional career in late 2015 with the release of the first EP entitled Incunabula. Since then Melville has placed 2nd in an international music contest hosted by software company Open Labs and sponsored by Linkin Park. Open Labs was stated as saying, "We can't stop listening to its dark and entrancing production," in the press release of the contest.
