Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Krysta Nick Official Website) - She's opened for Crystal Gayle, Gary Allan, Randy Houser, she's a Fayette Idol winner and now, 11 year old country music sensation Krysta Nick can add singing the National Anthem before an anticipated crowd of 50,000 at Sticks Country Music Festival to her resume. The Peachtree City, Georgia native has been selected by STICKS management to open up the festivities at the two-day, two-night coolers-welcome camping-encouraged extravaganza taking place at spectacular Parker Hill in Auburn, Ala., April 17 & 18, 2009.

'We had been searching for just the right person to open up STICKS,' said event producer, David Adams. 'When we heard Krysta, we knew she was just the ticket to set the tone for our event.'

Hailed as country music's version of Woodstock, STICKS features an all-star lineup of country music greats including the legendary Trace Adkins, Gretchen Wilson, Sara Evans, Rodney Atkins, Craig Morgan, Diamond Rio, Julianne Hough, Jason Michael Carroll, Mark Chesnutt, Ashton Shepherd, Chuck Wicks, Shenandoah, Granger Smith, Whiskey Falls and Adam Grant & Robert E.

Performing on the same stage with such a star-studded line-up and in front of such a huge crowd isn't intimidating the 11 year old one bit.

'This will be the largest audience I've ever appeared before but I'm really excited,' said Nick. 'The thought of being surrounded by so many country music superstars is a dream come true.'

'Because our two day passes are such an exceptional value at just $85 each, ticket sales are outpacing our original projections,' added Adams. 'That pass entitles you to bring your own cooler and tent camp for free. RV sites are available for $100.

If there are any available, general admission tickets will be $100 at the door on the day of the event. But, because capacity at STICKS will be capped for fan comfort, tickets are limited so fans are encouraged to buy now, guarantee themselves a seat and take advantage of the $85 price.

'Parker Hill in Auburn is where it is all happening April 17 and 18,' said Adams. 'Parker Hill is only minutes from Auburn/Opelika, a half hour from Columbus, Ga., 50 minutes from Montgomery, Ala., 90 minutes from Atlanta, and just over an hour from Birmingham, Ala. There is probably no nicer place than Auburn in the spring. If you love great country music you'll love STICKS.'
